In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the current state of emergency in New Jersey, ISMC is assembling a community task force to provide food and necessities to the following at-risk individuals in our community:

– Senior citizens;
– Single parent families;
– Families with health conditions preventing them from leaving home; and
– Families in critical need or in otherwise challenging economic situations.

Generous donors will cover the costs of food and necessities, and ISMC will cover the costs of incidental expenses (such as gas and tolls) for volunteers. Our first delivery date is anticipated to be Sunday, March 29th, 2020.

In the meantime:

1- If you or someone you know qualifies under the aforementioned criteria, please call 917.656.7725 and provide the Individual’s or Family’s information. ALL PERSONAL INFORMATION WILL BE KEPT STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL;

2- Be a volunteer and deliver to families in your area (Deliveries are planned for Sundays);

3- Donate generously to Masjid al-Aman’s COVID-19 Relief Fund (using the “DONATE” button provided above) to support relief for your community.
